The Health and Wellbeing group recently did an assembly on being healthy We talked about how and why it is important to eat healthy foods like apples and cabbage. We also did a quiz about what foods we should eat more and less of. Thankfully, most people knew the correct answers. We really enjoyed talking to everyone in the school.

Visit to the Foodbank
Last week we went to the Foodbank with five P1's to deliver the goods we had gathered at the Harvest Service.
When we arrived Mr Scott gave us a tour and showed us the workspace. There was racks of clothes, health products, an area for children to play, toys for children and boxes of food. He explained what they did, what everything was and answered our question's. After a while he showed us their storage room, it was filled with bread, sweets, beans and much more. There was also stuff for your pets. Mr Scott explained what they did with the food and that they delivered their resources to other islands in Orkney.
It was an enjoyable visit everyone.

Who are we?
On Wednesday we shared information about our new roles with the rest of the school.
Each group created a riddle about what our jobs are going to be.
Our friends in the younger classes answered the puzzles quickly!
